Kansas City Kite Club

The Kansas City Kite Club invites you to have fun with us! The Kansas City Kite Club strives to promote kiting enjoyment, education, and safety in an environment where single line and sport pilots can converse, exchange ideas, and most importantly have FUN!!

KCKC serves the Kansas City Metro area, covering more than five counties on both sides of the Kansas-Missouri border. Our goals are to promote interest in kiting, encourage membership in the KCKC and to provide members with workshops and activities that further their enjoyment of kiting.

KCKC is an American Kite Association (AKA) Affiliated Club. The American Kitefliers Association has over 4,000 members, in 35 countries making it the largest association of kiters in the world. Interests run from kitebuilding to multi-line kite competition, from miniature kites, to aerial photography and more.

All Kansas City Kite Club events are open to any interested future kiter! Please join us at any scheduled event. If you have any questions, please contact a member of the Executive Council.

Please check Special Events for other flys, picnics, and parties! If a Special Event is scheduled in the area at the same time as a Regularly Scheduled Fly, we will probably be at the Special Event!
