Workshops--2007

Kansas City Kite Club is planning winter workshops. Workshops will be held the second Saturdays of most months starting in September and finishing up in February at the North Community Firehouse Room located at 110th and North Oak, Kansas City, MO. Most workshops are from 1-4 pm.

One of the first classes will be Buddy Banners. Buddy Banners will let a sewer and a non-sewer get together as a team to make two contrasting 13 foot tall banners. Either sign up as a team, or contact Linda to be matched to another interested participant. Costs are being figured but should be $20 or under a participant-do you want banner poles to be a part of the kit, or separate? Plans and firm dates will be announced next month in the
newsletter.

Contact Linda Larkey at 816-415-9363 or email airhead@kc.rr.com for more details.

Other classes that are being considered are Tu-Pak Sleds (a great kite for gift giving!), miniature kites, DC Coyne, Patchwork Rok, Train kites, and sewing workshops for club bols. If you have a request, make it soon.
